Even as a name he has made greater accomplishment than any flesh-and-blood person per-son I have had the pleasure of meeting. -Try to think of any other person you have known or heard about who is so beloved by children that his (or her) very name brings a universal glow to the eyes of childhood. Who else can inspire the kids under your roof to sit down of their own volition and declare in childish scrawl "I will be ; ' . a good little guy until you arrive." Even the most model parents fail to extract such Voluntary pledges from their 1 offspring. Those of you who do not believe in Santa Claus are inconsistent in-consistent folk. Most of you had lighted Christmas trees shining through the dusk of Christmas eve. Didn't you have just a sprig of holly on the door and a row of empty stockings hung up at bedtime last night? Of course, your eyes didn't twinkle just a little when you heard the hushed lines of " Twas the Night Before Christmas." ' You went straight to sleep last night without one tiny thought of what might be waiting for you under the Christmas tree this morning. You didn't even have one wonderful moment when you thought you heard the tune of sleighbells. far off in the You, who take no stock in Santa Claus live in a world of intelligent reality, no doubt but for me, I'll stay on the side of the Christmas tree with the little kids, because I like the other world best where Santa really comes on Christmas, filling stockings and'hopeful Hearts with the best of life's precious moments. ,t How sad that people willingly Believe in only what' they see - Some say that Santa did not come With baby doll or bright red drum Yet somehow gifts were strewn around And stockings filled through all the town Santa's gifts resemble daffodils Left by Spring upon the hills Because no one saw her shining hair Is it right to say Spring was not there ?
