Why not? Well, if a newspaper pleased everybody and everybody was pleased, the time spent here on earth would be so monotonous that the people would not care how soon the globe goes to pieces. A news paper must rattle the dry bones, make even-body mad, be boycotted, kick up Jack, tell the truth, expose falsehood, lay bare hypocrisy, fraud, and the like, and then trust to the soler second thought of fair-minded people. |
