Show Openhouse slated for Ray M. and Rose B. Pulley as the couple celebrates Golden Anniversary one ol the assignments was working with the boys at the Utah Slate In honor of the 50lh wedding anniversary of their parents, the children of Kay M. and Kose B. Pulley will host an open house at the Timpanogos Stake Center, 800 North 100 West, Pleasant Grove, Saturday, June 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. All relatives and friends are cordially invited. They request no gifts. Your friendship is a cherished gift. The couple were married April 19, 1933 in the Salt Lake Temple. Kay M. Pulley was born October 17, 1911 in Pleasant Grove, a son of Chester C. and Minnie Martin Pulley. He has farmed and managed a dairy in Fallon, Nevada, raised turkeys for Arza Adams and worked at Geneva Steel in the Open Hearth Department. He retired from Geneva Steel in 1977. He has a great interest in young people and has been a 4-H and Aaronic Priesthood leader. He has been registered and active with the Boys Scouts of Americ for 42 years. He received the Silver Beaver Award in Scouting for service to boys in 1956. In his church service Kose Butte Pulley was born March 27, 1913 in Hiawatha, Carbon County, a daughter of Aaron John and Mary Juanita Tullis Butte. The family moved from Carbon County to American Fork when she was 12 years of age. She has been associated with 4-H and PTA, served as registrar in her voting district and acted as judge of election for several years. She has served in all the auxiliaries of her church, the most rewarding being 20 years in Junior Sunday School on both ward and stake levels. At the present time they are workers in the Provo LDS Temple. They are the parents of four children: Jean LaRae, deceased; Mrs. George (Carol) Meyer, West Valley City; David A., Phoenix, Ariz.; and Lynn R., Orem. Eleven grandchildren have blessed their later years and are a great delight to them. One little granddaughter is deceased. Ray and Rose appreciate and love their in-law children, George (Carol) Meyer, Camille (Dave), and Barbara (Lynn). ROSE AND RAY M. PULLEY Training School Branch. He enjoyed this assienment very much. |
