Show Funeral Services For Sidney H. Sager The Second ward chapel was filled to capacity last Saturday afternoon af-ternoon when funeral services were held for Sidney H. Sager, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Sager. The youth died the preceding Wednesday Wednes-day of infection in an arm resulting result-ing from a car accident several days before. i The large attendance, the many lovely flowers and the remarks of ! the speakers expressed the love and ! esteem in which the deceased and the family are held in the community. commun-ity. Bishop Joseph H. Storrs was in charge of the services. The open-J open-J ing selection was "Cast Thy Bread Upon the Waters" sung by Mes-dames Mes-dames C. E. Young, W. R. Halli-day, Halli-day, J. P. Noyes and Vern Walker, with Miss Lydia Olsen accompanist. The Invocation was offered by John H. Davis, following which the Mon-son Mon-son sisters sang "Whispering Hope", Miss Olsen being accompanist, j The speakers were A. B. Allen, a former instructor of the deceased, iWanfor Barnes, a close companion, . Clyde P. Crookston, M. Men class leader and President C. E. Young. Each told of the many good qualities qual-ities of character possessed by the young man. . Bishop Storrs made brief closing remarks. Following I Mr. Barnes' remarks, Rulon Nich- oles sang "I'am a Pilgrim" accom-; accom-; panied by Mrs. Owen Humphries. The closing number, "Going I Home" was sung by Mrs. C. E. I Young, accompanied by Miss Edith ! Young. The benediction was pronounced pro-nounced by John H. Anderson. ! Interment was made in the city cemetery where the grave was ded-I ded-I icated by William Wing of Lehi. i |
