Show City Council Hears Report On Work City council convened in regular j session Saturday with Mayor Lewis E. Olpin presiding. In response to a petition of citizens requesting street west from Delbert Walker corner motion was made by Councilman Dickerson and carried that this work be done if funds are available. By motion of Councilman Fugal the matter of financing administration administra-tion costs of distributing R. F. C. funds was left with the mayor with power to act. Chairman Dickerson of the waterworks water-works committee reported that 1600 feet of 10 inch cast iron pipe was on the ground, and part of the trench excavated preparatory for replacement. re-placement. Chairman Clark of the streets committee, reported some of the streets in the city graded, also fence on newly opened street constructed as ordered. The matter of constructing fence on the. property lines of Ford Poul-son Poul-son and Nathanal Loader was left with the streets committee with power, pow-er, to act. Chairman Walker of the city property prop-erty committee reported the cesspool rocked up and covered, also that excavation had been made for septic sep-tic tank. |
