Volunteers from the Civil Air Patrol and the Utah Highway Patrol will man 12 phones, eight local and four WATS lines, providing updated weather, road and ski conditions for all of North America. Last year over 28,000 calls were, received from viewers, relatives and organizations who had heard about this service, some from as far away as Florida, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Viewers are urged to call the KTVX Holiday Travel Hotline at 1-800-972-KTVX between 8:30 a.m. and 10 p.m., and spread the word to their friends, relatives and associates all across the U.S. KTVX is anticipating increased success for the Holiday Travel Hotline this year.
