Show Funeral Services Set Today for Nelda Rawlinson Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove Stake Center Cen-ter 200 East 500 South for Nelda Hicken Rawlinson, 59, who died of leukemia Monday evening in the American Fork Hospital. She was born July 7, 1915 in Heber City to J. Claude and Verna Mahoney Hicken. She married C. Harvey Rawlinson on January 21, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Rawlinson was active in the LDS Church in the Pleasant Grove Ninth Ward. For 35 years she had served in the Primary and was organist in the Relief Society. She and her husband had been ward and district dance supervisors. She taught piano lessons and was past president of the Timp Chapter of Music Teachers. Survivors include her husband, hus-band, two sons and one daughter, daugh-ter, Don H. Rawlinson, Midvale; Kent C. Rawlinson, Wellsville, Cache County, and Mrs. Dale (Renae) Woolsey, Cedar City; eight grandchildren; two brothers broth-ers and two sisters, Cyril M. Hicken, Don L. Hicken, Mrs. Venice Watson and Mrs. Glade (Yvonne) Horner, all of Heber City. Burial will be in Heber City Cemetery. |
