If not, now is the time to check up on ourselves and see wherein we could have done better. We wish to express our grateful thanks and appreciation for your terest and work in everything that has been for the betterment of our city. We thank them for the cooperation coopera-tion and assistance they have given us as we are about to take over our ! new responsibilities. Our earnest desire is it hat we may be able to carry on the work in the able manner in which they have. We also realize that our success confidence in us as shown November 5, 1929, when we were elected to city : offices, and may we prove worthy of it and at all times be ready and willing to serve the people of this community communi-ty to its best advantage. May we work unitedly and wisely for the growth and development of our city. At the presemt time we are in need of an extensive program in the way of beautification. We have the possibility poss-ibility of making one of the most beautiful parks in our state. Let's work together and make our city ; whait its name implies "Pleasant Grove." We wish also to extend a vote of thanks to our outgoing officers. We sincerely appreciate their untiring in- depends on the cooperation of every citizen of Pleasant Grove. As your servants, we can serve you only when we have your help. May we have that support and may we he blessed with wisdom, judgment, and the ability to work untiringly for the benefit of our city, for its growth and its prosperity. In behalf of the incoming city officials, I take this opportunity to extend to the citizens of Pleasant Grove the season's greetings.
