This often poses a problem because some families like highly spiced foods and others like theirs lightly seasoned. The following recipe is a good one because it lets you add the spices to suit the particular tastes of your own family. I hope you like it too. HOLIDAY PUMPKIN PIE 1 12 cups cooked pumpkin 34 cup sugar Honored on 87th birthday 12 tsp. salt 12 to 1 tsp. .ginger 14 to 12 tsp. nutmeg 14 to 1 tsp. gloves Mrs. Anna Marie Wilson celebrated her 87th birthday on Nov. 6th, when members of her family and a number of friends 1 14 tsp.cinnamon slightly beaten eggs 34 cup evaporated milk 1 cup milk Combine pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices; blend. Add eggs and milk. Mix thoroughly. Pour into 10 inch pastry lined pie pan. Bake at (450 degrees) for 10 minutes; then in moderate oven (325) about 50 minutes or until mixture doesnt adhere to knife. Narrow slivers of the cake were served to all who called that day and for several days afterward. , Mrs. Wilson was born in Germany in 1883 and came to America in 1890. She married the late Robert L. She is alert and drives her car on local errands. She enjoys gardening and has a well kept lot and beautiful rose garden." Faux, director of the Youth Center, Utah State Hospital. The speakers will be introduced by Mrs. Sterling (Rosamand) Ballard, chairman of the Council health committee who arranged the program. Mr. Rockwood will present an over-a- ll summary of the drug problem as it exists today. A former representative for a pharmaceutical company, Mr. Rockwood has had extensive experience since that time in the field of education with emphasis on youth related programs. Prior to his appointment as director of the Division of Drugs, he was assistant Dean of Students at BYU. He also has been a private consultant for business management, lecturer and consultant for counseling programs in of youth on Nov. 15, 1950. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in the Primary and Relief Society. Survivors include her husband of Lake Shore; three sons and four daughters, Lynn G. Hone, Las Vegas, Nev.; Glade D. and Theron D. Hone, both of Orem; Mrs. Orval (LaDean) Mecham, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Elmo (Nelda) Ellison, Provo; Mrs. Morgan (Ardella) Williams and Mrs. Wal-do- n flla Rae) Reynolds, both of San Diego, Calif.; 32 grandchildren; two three brothers and one sister, David Horrocks, Tooele; Darrell Horrocks, Santaquin; Chris Horrocks, Salem; Mrs. H. Clark (Alice) Gardner, Orem. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Lake Shore LDS Ward Chapel Burial was in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery under the direction of Walker Mortuary. public schools, and was director of student special services at BYU. He completed graduate work at BYU, University of Utah, and Washington State University. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1953. Dr. Faux will report on the current needs of the Youth Center program at the Utah State Hospital. A graduate from the U of U in 1948 with an M.D. degree, he was conferred the F.A.P.A. in 1964 by the American Psychiatric Association. He was appointed director of the Youth Program at Utah State Hospital in 1964 and was named clinical instructor, Department of Psychiatry, University of Utah School of Medicine in 1967; consultant in Child Psychiatry, National Institute of Mental Health in 1968. He received the Physician Recognition Award, from the American Medical Association in 1970. Dr. Faux is a popular speaker on mental health at all types of functions. As a sidelight he also is an accomplished cellist and pianist and he and Mrs. Faux present many people appreciation programs and Elsie Blackburn Elsie Tolman Blackburn, 61, Salem, died at her home Friday, Nov. 6, 1970. She was born May 14, 1909, in Fairview, Wyo., a daughter of James M. and Marguerite Erickson Tolman. She married Alfred Blackburn on March 10, 1928 in Otto, Wyo. Since 1938 they had lived in Salem. She was a member of musicals to various groups in the community. Mrs. Faux is on the BYU faculty in Speech and Drama. Future plans for the mental health services for children in Utah will by Mrs. Nelson. A mother of five children, all at home, Mrs. Nelson has worked in child related programs through her career. As a public health nurse in Granite School District, she served as a member of the first team offering consultation to parents and teachers of children with behavioral problems. Later she was instrumental in developing the Youth Service Program in Salt Lake City, which counsels adolescents. She also has worked considerably in Indian health and mental health services. Mrs. Nelson received her B.S. degree in nursing (cum laude) from the U of U in 1962, M.S. degree in Clinical Psychiatric Nursing and Education in 1964 and completed one quarter post masters in 1966 at Columbia the LDS Church.
