Dickson, son of Tom and Claire Dickson of Huntsville, has been called to serve in the Texas Houston East Spanish-speaking Mission. His mission farewell was held on September 26 at the Middle Fork Ward in Eden. Elder Bradon Martin, son of Don and Trudi White of Pleasant View, and Mike martin of Eden, has been called to serve in the Canada Calgary Mission. His farewell was held on September 26 at the Pleasant View 3rd Ward. Sister Lindy Marie Nichols, daughter of Alan and Teresa Nichols of Liberty, has been called to serve in the California Fresno Spanish-speaking Mission. Her mission farewell was held on September 26 at the Liberty 1st Ward in Eden. Elder John R. Nipko, son of Tucker and Connie Nipko of Liberty, has been called to serve in the Texas Houston East Mission. His Elder John R. Sister Katie Songer, daughter of Steve and Pat Songer of Huntsville, has been called to serve in the Japan Tokyo South Mission. Her mission farewell was held on September 26 at the Huntsville 1st Ward. Sister Kera Fuller, daughter of Pam Taylor of Mesquite, Nevada and Kerry Fuller of Eden, has been called to serve in the Washington Tacoma Mission. Births Weddings Anniversaries Bronson Vern and Faun Bronson of Huntsville will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. Their family will honor them at a luncheon on Wednesday October 6th. They were married October 6, 1939, in Huntsville. Their vows were solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 15, 1940. Born in Huntsville to Arthur H. and Mamie Stromberg Bronson on March 10,1913, he attended Weber County Schools. He was employed as a state road equipment operator and in the maintenance department for Huntsville, where he still works part time. He also farmed for many years. His interests include lawn mowing, plowing snow and playing with his great-grandchildren. Born in Ogden on March 29, 1919, to Daniel and Ella Wilson Allen, she attended Weber County Schools and taught 4-H for 10 years. She has held many positions in the LDS Church. She has worked at Leon’s Market, George A. Lowe’s Hardware, Allied Building Supplies and McKay-Dee Hospital. She is a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Her interests include quilting and spending time with her family. Their children and spouses are Larry and DeeAnn Strebel, Kenneth Bronson, Linda Geary, and Russell and Jana Bronson. They have 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Lance and Angela Robins of Eden had a baby girl on September 4. Paul and Jodi Farrell Gale of Huntsville became the proud parents of a baby boy on September 9 (9-999!). His name is Benjamin Michael Gale. Tracey and Casa Lewis Woolsey of Huntsville had a baby girl on September 11. Stark-Sales Katie Mae Stark, daughter of Chet and Penny Stark of Liberty became the bride of James Michael Sales on September 9. The bridegroom is the son of Linda Chugg of Bountiful, and Richard Sales of Roseville, California. Dickens, with Rhonda Burrell as the bridesmaid. Best men were Aaron’s brothers, Ryan Christensen and Douglas Christensen. A graduate of Davis High School, the bride received her Associates Degree from Weber State University, where she plans to continue her studies. The bridegroom is a graduate of Northridge High School and served in the Colombia Barranquilla LDS Mission. He also attends WSU. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen are residing in Layton. Dalton-Bybee Exchanging nuptial vows Friday, September 17, in the Wright’s GetAway Lodge were the former Angie Dalton and Tad Bybee. The bride is the daughter of Randy and Sandy Dalton of Liberty. Parents of the bridegroom are Larry Jean Bybee of Roy, and Janice Cox of Hooper. A reception at the Wright’s GetAway Lodge was held afterward. The new Mr. and Mrs. Bybee will live in Ogden. He will continue his business, T.J.B. Construction, and she will work for T.J.B. Construction. The bride graduated from Weber High School. A graduate of Roy High School, he served an LDS mission in Taiwan. Garside-Toone Kami Garside and Bart Toone were united in marriage Saturday, Sept.11. Stark-Sales Young Womanhood Rachel C. Ipson, 18, daughter of David and Karen Ipson of Eden, has earned her Young Women Gold Medallion Award. The award is given to LDS women who, through the six years they are in the Young Women’s program, complete various projects for personal growth, and for community and church service. Rachel is a member of the Eden 2nd Ward. She attends Weber High School. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds were honored with a garden reception at the home of the bride’s parents. Matron of honor was Shamra Spencer. Best man was the bridegroom’s brother, Jeffrey Sales, with Cody Kruger, Beau Stark and Rowdy Stark as ushers. The bride is a graduate of Weber High School and is a real estate assistant. The bridegroom graduated from Viewmont High School, served in the Marine Corps, and is employed with Fife Rock Products in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Sales are residing in Ogden. MANSELL AND ASSOCIATES Mike and Jennifer Earl of Huntsville added a baby boy to their family on July 6 at 8:10 p.m. His name is Chase Remington Earl. He weighed 9 lbs. 4 oz. Fackrell-Carver Exchanging nuptial vows August 14 at Carver’s Cove in Eden were the former Kristina L. Fackrell and Lucas B. Carver. The bride is a daughter of Vicki Eddington of Morgan, and Mike and Diane Eastman of Layton. Parents of the bridegroom are Audrey and Rodney Carver of Eden. A reception was held afterward. Kristina chose Erica Williams as maid of honor. John Montgomery carried out the duties of best man. Dean Eddington was ring bearer and Shaylynn Eddington was flower girl. Mr. and Mrs. Carver are residing in Visalia, California. The ceremony was performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception followed at the residence of Douglas and Kristine Dickens. Maid of honor was Melissa Garside-Toone The bride is the daughter of David Garside of Ogden and Ann Garside, also of Ogden. The bridegroom is the son of Ben and Becky Toone of Eden. Family and friends joined the couple that evening at Ogden Golf & Country Club for the ceremony, garden reception and dance. Ring bearer was Ethan Fuller. The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas. Thierry-Toone Kelly Thierry, formerly of Roy and Rock Toone of Eden were united in marriage on July 23. The bride is the daughter of Fred and Motoko Endo. The bridegroom is the son of Ben and Becky Toone of Eden. Family and friends joined the couple that evening at the Hearthside in Eden for the ceremony. |
