Show MANY CASES OF DISEASE IN THE CITY According tn the monthly report of Sanltaty Inspector Qeorge Shorten. February was a record -breaking 'month in the number of contagious diseases reported. During the twenty twen-ty -eicht days there were nlnetv-one cases of measles quarantined, but the inspector says the situation Is crow-J crow-J Inc. better. There are fifty-nine cases of the disease still quarantined. The following Is the report in full. Scarlet fever, six cases reported, two cases now in quarantine smallpox, small-pox, eleven cases reported, ten now in quarantine; whooping couuh. five esses still in quarantine; measles ninety-one cases reported, fifty-nine still quarantined, chlckenpox, rive j casea reported, four now in quaran-I quaran-I tine. There was a total of IIS cases or contagious diseases reported of which eighty are in quarantine now There were twenty-eight deaths during the month of which seventeen were male6 and eleven females The births numbered fifty-seven, of which thirty-five were males and twenty-two females. |
