Show Brighara City Society (Special to the Standard.) BRIGHAM CITY, Sept. 22. Stanley L. j-iowc of Ogden and MIsb Muriel Jensen of this city were married hero last Monday. Justice H. M. Piggina pronounced the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Andrew Jenncn and one of the popular young women of tho city. Mr. and Mrs. Lowe will make their home in Ogden. The marriage of Miss Wilson of Christian B. Anderson of Brooklyn, New York, took place Monday afternoon after-noon at the home of the bride's parents par-ents Mr and Mrs. Charles Wilson. Bishop Hyrum W, Aralcntine of tho third ward performed the ccrcmony. Later in the day the newly weds departed de-parted for a few days' visit in Salt Lake and will leave in a few days for San Diego California where they will reside for a time. Miss Wilson entertained a few of her friends and relatives at a trosseau tea Friday afternoon. A tray luncheon lunche-on was served. Among those present were Mrs. Frank Holman, Mrs. Charles Wilson, Mrs. Carl Hansen, Mrs. Andy Jensen. Mrs. Wllford Nelson, Mrs. Ar-vlllo Ar-vlllo T. Forsgrcn, Mrs. Norman Over-son, Over-son, Mrs. John Iverson, Mrs. B. C. Call, Mrs. John McGuire, Mrs. H. W. Valentine, Mrs. D. L. Reeder, Mrs. Maria Bywater, Mrs. Lewis WilBon, Msr. Dolono Johnson, Mrs. Andy Jensen, Jen-sen, Miss Lola Nichols, Miss Lucille Nichols, Miss Annie Channers, Miss Annie Bowden, Miss Reeder, Miss Luolla FIfo, Miss Ratha Reeder, Miss Maud Forsgren, Miss Lucille Forrest, Miss Grace Forsgren. Mrs. D. R. Wright and daughter Mrs. Earl Furniss of Ogden were the guests of Mrs. Wright's mother Mrs. F. A. Box Wednesday. Mrs. Furniss remained re-mained here two or three days visiting j Mrs. Box. Mrs. Joseph A. West was hostess at reception Saturday afternoon. in honor of Mrs. Christena J. Baird. About thirty guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. Roy McCune of Garfield Gar-field were the guests of Mrs. Minnie J. Lund Sunday. Miss Louise Ingram gave a dinner Saturday evening in compliment to Mrs. T. J. Morgan of Logan, sister to Miss Ingram, who with her daughter La Rue were week and visitors to this city. Mrs. H. Hansen and daughter Edna of Logan visited Mrs. Minnie Lund j Saturday and Sunday. Miss Mary Hoist entertained a few friends at luncheon Saturday evening, andand covered were laid for Mrs. W. R Dredge, Miss Laura Mathias, Miss Nellie Jensen, Miss Sarah Mathias and Miss Mabel Harris. Misses Sarah Joaephson, Nina Nelson Nel-son and Lucy Johnson entertained at a miscellaneous shower at the home of Mrs. Christena J. Hansen in honor of Miss Freda Hansen who will be wed next week to John Rampton of Bountiful. nn |
