Show Smithfield Girl Wins Style Dress Revue Miss Lois Allsop, 15 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Earl Allsop of Smithfield, Saturday was named district winner of the 4-H style dress revue held at the college. col-lege. Since there were no entries in this contest from either Rich or Box Elder couties, the winner was selected from seven Cache county girls participating in the revue: Lois Allsop, Eunice Hillyard, Ar-lene Ar-lene Traveler and Lanice' Moore nil of Smithfield. and Elizabeth Barber, Agatha Hyer and Bernice Hyer of Lewiston. Miss Wanda Winn is Smithfield club leader and Mrs. (Phillis Goodey is Clark-ston Clark-ston leader. Miss Susie Sanford, Extension clothing specialist, who Judged the costumes, stated that each girl had done exceptionally well, not only in construction of her dress and slip, but In selection of styles and colors and choice of accessories. Named in the blue ribbon group were Miss Allsop, Eunice Hillyard, Arlene G. Traveller and Elizabeth Barber. Red ribbon awards go to ! Agatha Hyer Lanice Moore and I Bernice Hyer.' |
