Show SHORT XMAS H0LS0AY FOR CACHE STUDENTS "Almost no Christmas vacation!" That decree was issued Wednesday Wednes-day to students ' and teachers in the Cache county public school system by Superintenent J. W. Kirkbride. The measure was adopted ad-opted at the last meeting of the school board. Students will not without a two-week vacation, however, as county schools will recess for tiiat period' during the 1941 beet harvest in October. A total of only five days va- cation will fall at Christmas and ,New Year's. In December, schools U,rill ho plrtcorl nn tViA 94th and ' 25th and 26th. January 1 and 2, will be free, with school again opening on January 3. The complete calandar is as ' follows : School will open on September 2, close for two weeks in October for beet harvest, recess re-cess again at Thanksgiving on November No-vember 27 and 28, and, after the brief vacations at Christmas and New Year's, will open January 3 to run untill May 22. A total of 172 school days will be observed observ-ed during the year. |
