Show Temple Rites Unite Popular Young Couple Mr. and Mrs. William Erickson of Smithfield. announce the marriage mar-riage of their daughter, Roma, to Lieutenant Glenn C. Andersen, son of Mr .and Mrs. J. C. Andersen Ander-sen of Arbon, Idaho. The ceremony cere-mony was performed Wednesday, Jan. 13, in the Logan temple with President Joseph Quinney officiating. officia-ting. Following the marriage a wedding wed-ding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents for members of both families. The bride, a former student of Utah State Agricultural college, was associated with Lambda Delta Sigma and Phrateres social organizations. organ-izations. Lieutenant Andersen is a senior student at the college and o first lipDtenant in the advanced ROTC. He is affiliated with the Scabbard and Blade and American Ameri-can Society of Agricultural Engineers. En-gineers. The young couple will make their home in Logan for the present pre-sent where Lieutenant Andersen will continue his studies. A miscellaneous shower was given in Salt Lake City honoring the young bride on Dec. 28. Those present were. The Misses Maxine Barlow, Marie Taylor. Marjorie Lyon, Loma Call, Althea Greger-son, Greger-son, Doris Fletcher, Marjorie Mae Mai'shaU and the guest of honor. Mrs. Erickson y presided at a trousseau tea in compliment to her daughter Saturday, Jan. 9. A color-scheme of peach and white was carried out in all appointments ap-pointments with a decorated three tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom cen- tering the serving table. Peach an white candles in crystal holders hold-ers completed table decorations. Assisting at the tea were Mrs. Erickson, Miss Roma Erickson, j Miss Ruth Erickson, Evelyn, Ethel- yn and Elaine Erickson, Cleone I Pitcher, Glenna Raymond, Geniel Hymas, Clomi Hammond, Louise McBride, Anna Lou Reese ant! Mrs Arnold Finchum, Airs. I. E. Kobie Sr., and Mrs. I. E. Noble Jr., Mrs Roy Erickson and Mrs Merle Johnson Two hundred and fifty guests called during the appointed hours. |
