Show SOCIETY. The T. G. Q. club was entertained by Myrtle Madsen, Thursday even-ins? even-ins? of last week. Dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mr. and Mrs. S. Hugentobler en tertained at an informal dinner at their home Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Mary Knudsen entertained at an exceptionally dainty and delicious de-licious luncheon at her home Sunday afternoon. Those present were; Mrs. WillHafen, Mrs. C. W. Sorensen, Mrs. Leo Seely, Mrs A. Knudsen, Etta Ralph, Tressie Larson, Goldie Faux, Mrs. J. Knudsen Sr. An exceptionally pleasant house-party house-party was given Tuesday evening of last week by Dr. and Mrs. Stocks. The evening was spent in games, music, etc., and adelicious luncheon served. All those present having expressed themselves as having had an exceptionally good time. The guests were, Messrs and Mesdames P. M. Neilson, J. W. Anderson, C. W. Sorenson, J. A. Armstrong, H. C. Jacobs, J. W. Cherry, Geo. Christensen, Chris-tensen, A. C. Wall, Neils Larsen, Hyrum Madsen, Wm. Olson, H. C. Merz. F. Ericksen. Dr. Tebbs. Mes dames A. L. Larsen, A. Knudsen, Misses Annie Johansen. A very pleasant and successful surprise partv was tendered Mrs. Hannah Clark at her home Saturday afternoon in honor of the lady's fiftieth birthday. About thirty of Mrs. Clark's friends and neighbors were responsible for the affair. An elaborate hot dinner was served and the lady presented with a handsome silver tea service of three pieces and a beautiful silver berry spoon and berry dish. The presents were thoroughly thor-oughly appreciated by the lady. The ladies present were Mesdames: C. W. Sorenson, Andrew Knudsen, Andrew An-drew Larsen, Daniel Clark, John Knudsen, Chris Christensen, Orange Aldrich, A. E. Mcintosh, Peter Lund, J. F. Madsen, Annie Johansen, Jo-hansen, Myrtle Clark and Gertrude Knudsen. |
