Show DEATH OF PIONEER. Mrs. Rasmuss Frandsen of thi: city died Friday morning, April 26th. She had reached her seventy-fifth year and death came as a result of old age and general debility. The funeral was held in the North Ward meeting house Sunday at 2 o'clock. Hans Brown, C. W. Ander-eison, Ander-eison, Abram Johnson and John Carter Car-ter were the speakers. Sacred mus ic was rendered by the choir a' d a solo by Miss Horlense Syndergaard. A nice floral offering was given by jfric-nJs and relatives. Mrs. Frandsen was born October 29, 1837, atSvinninge, Osherred Co , ' Denmark. She was the daughter of Lars Miidsen and Bodel Nielson Mad sen. She joined the Mormon church when but a young girl, and came to America with three of her brothers and one sister, Pet:i , Andrew, Niel and Jacobina. She crossed the plains in 1856 with Pres. Peterson's company and was married to Rasmus j Frandsen in the Endowment House I at Salt Lake City in June 1857. She I was the mother of five children, Pet-'er, Pet-'er, Rasmuss, Willard, Anna Rolfson and Laura Hansen. Her husband and five children survive sur-vive her. She was a true Latter Day Saint and a good mother. |
