Show SOCIETY. The 0. N. 0. girls were entertain ed Thursday night by Stell Mcintosh I at her home. Refreshments were ' served, business matters attended to and a good time spent. Miss Jennie Jen-nie Ryan was a special guest. The members of the H. H. G. club met at the home of its president, j Rapheal Jensen, Thursday evening ' for the purpose of re-electing officers. offi-cers. Rapheal was reinstated as president, Leonard Seely Vice-president, Irvin Stanfield secretary and Rex Jensen treasurer. The club expects ex-pects to do things in the near future. A big dancing party is at present under consideration. Frans Nielson entertained at an elaborate dinner party Saturday evening at his father's beautiful new home on Main street. Covers were bi 1 for about thirty persons. After dinner uhe evening was giv n to songs, piano and violin selections, .speeches, trames, etc., until the clock tolled the hour of departure. A ver pleasant and interesting evening ev-ening was enjoyed by all present. Mrs. A. D. Sutton was called to Benjamin Saturday by the death of her grandmother. The Old Folks party given at the SouthWard Wednesday afternoon was one of the best of its kind ever given in this city. 414 were served whh a hot dinner and a fine program rendered. The management of the M lba theatre threw their doors open to the Old Folks. In the evening even-ing a dance was given at Armory Hall which was greatly enjoyed by young and old. Lack oi space prevents pre-vents us from giving a report of the committee or a detailed report of the proceedings of tne dav. Next week will appear the report of the finance committee. A select skating party was given Saturday evening by some of our young people, after which they were treated to refreshments at the Jen-san Jen-san Hotel. The Foote Stock Co will show at the Opera House for three nights commencing Tuesday, Feb. 6th. The personal of the company are composed com-posed of such noted players as Clare Hn'ton, Adelia Bradford, Josephine Deffry, tickets 10, 20 and 30 cents. The members of the 20th Century club will give their annual ball Wednesday Wed-nesday even ing, Feb. 7th, at Armory Hall. Always big event of the season. Teachers' Institute will be held here Feb. 9 and 10th. A dance each night at Armory Hall. |
