Show Oasis Mrs La Veda Bishop Mrs. Lillian Roundy and sons, Howard and Paul and her father, Peter A. Peterson and nephew, Russell HeWett left last Saturday. They went to Ogden and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lancy Peterson. Sunday they went on to Logan, where they met Erma, who had been attending Girls' State. She joined te party and they travelled on to Pocatello, where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Art Simmons. Monday, they resumed their trip and went on to Yellowstone Park. They had a wonderful time and re turned to Oasis last Thursday. Russell Rus-sell Hewett from Long Beach, Cal., is spending the summer with the Roundy family. Grant Petersen and son, Ronald, and Raymond Petersen and son, Paul, and their nephews, Keith and Melvin Stanworth went on a three day fishing trip last week to Fish Lake. They had a lot of fun and caught a lot of fish. It looks like Grant Petersen is leaving the fate of his seed crop in the hands of the powers that be while he takes time out 'for a vacation and it's may opinion he's right. Tuesday, he took his family and went to Beaver for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Don Webb. Norma Fae Howell is visiting in Beaver with her grandmother, Mrs. Amy Brinkerhoff. Jerold and Eccles Bishop are in Mapleton this week picking cherries. cher-ries. Miss Helen Jean Christensen is spending the summer in Nevada working at the Glendale Service. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nelson of Los Angeles visited with their aunt Mrs. Celia Christensen a few days last week. |
