Show ARCH PATTERSON OF BEAVER DIES THURS. Arch Patterson, aged 49, passed pass-ed away at 6 a. m. Thursday morning, morn-ing, November 26, after a long and painful illness. " Death was caused by tumorous cancer of the throat, which affected glands in such a way he was unable to eat. He had been in Salt Lake City for several months endeavoring to find relief, and two months ago he spent several weeks in Provo 'seeking 'seek-ing a cure but nothing helped, and condition grew more serious. ... till death brought relief from the 'suffering. 'suf-fering. : Unmarried, he lived alone, engaged enga-ged in the dairy business in which he was very successful. His herd is one of the best in the county. In this connection he took an active part in dairy interests, being a member of the board of directors of the Dairy Association in connection with the Shepherd Creamery. He was very active in lodge work having been an Odd Fellow for fifteen fif-teen years and was a past Noble Grand. He is survived by his perents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas. Patterson, and three sisters, Mrs. Kate Bowman, Mrs. Leona Smith and Mrs. Geneva Idol, all of whom live in Beaver. Funeral services will be conducted by the Odd Fellows Lodge at the East Ward Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. I o " |
