Show o ECHOES OF THANKSGIVING Miss Emma McAllister, first grade teacher, as is her annual custom, feted her little students Thanksgiving day at the high school dining room. Only those who have been privileged to attend one of these dinners given by Miss McAllister, can imagine the dignity and splendor of the occasion. The formality and politeness of the little folks would do honor to a court function given at a royal palace. The tables were beautifully decorated. decora-ted. A hot turkey dinner, with all its accessories was served. When the dinner was finished, each child gratuitously offered a toast, specifying the things for which they were thankful. It is a glowing tribute to Miss McAllister Mc-Allister to observe that not one child in the group fails to mention the fact the he or she is grateful for their "teacher." The children tendered a vote of 1 thanks to the ladies who so graciously j served the banquet. |
