Show J SOUTH MILFORD NOTES Mr. and Mrs. Geo. F. Stanley departed de-parted for Ogden and other northern points last Tuesday. Their many friends here wish them happiness in their new location. ' W. W. Cook was quite seriously ill for a few days, but has recovered now. ! Ship Hogs , ' Messers Walter Weber and Geo. Stanley shipped three carload of hogs j to the Los Angeles market, the early j part of this week- Dr. Addison Bybee made a business trip to Beaver last Friday. LeRoy Luken was confined to the 1 house for four days with fj severe attack of flu. At this writing he is out again. While Mr. and Mrs. Chester Haskell were away on a seed buying trip, their i three small sons and the ranch were in charge of Charles Thomas. Arthur Hardy, of the Hardy Serv-! Serv-! ice Station, at Minersville, has in-; in-; stalled a radio in the Walter Weber home. Mr. Hardy is experimenting with the static which seems so bothersome to radios in our valley and hopes to complete a device for its elimination. Mr. and Mrs. Mack Anderson of Monroe, Utah, spent the Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing holidays with the Myron Han-; Han-; chett family. Mrs. Anderson is Mrs. Hanchett's sister. Graveling Roads A larger force of men than at any time before, is now at work graveling grav-eling the east and west road. Much progress is anticipated ere another ; snow storm delays the graveling. |
