Show THE FUNERAL OF AXEL ANDERSON Attended by a Large Number of Friends. He Was a Man of Excellent Ex-cellent Character. Hvok I'auk, Jan 28. The death or joung Axel F. Andersen, who died at tho Rudgo hospital Wednesday, Jan. 20th, casu a gloom over ttio entire community. Urothcr Anderson was onoorour most wdrthy young men-honest, men-honest, virtuous and Industrious. Ho was somewhat modest and retiring, yet was ever Jovial, and looking upon the bright sldo or life. Ho was a young man with u character above repioach, and always kept himself free from the many evil habits usually Indulged In by tho young. The writer has often had pleasant conveisatlons with him and found lilin far better Informed on general topics than many gave him credit for. Funeral services wcro held In tho Hj tic Park meeting houso Friday, tho 27th. The house was well tilled with relatives and friends. Ileautlful and appropriate muslo was rendered by tho choir and Elders Joseph Walte, J. XV. D. Hurrtn, Lorenzo Petorsen, and lilshop C. G. Hydo said many words of commendation and praise for the noble God fearing life ltd by tho, deceased. Twcnty-slx sleighs, well loaded with people, followed the remains to the cemetery, where tho grave was dldlcated by Elder Albert Perkes. An Entertaiment. On last Friday and Saturday evenings even-ings tho Hydo Park Primary Association Associa-tion gave a very pleasing entertainment. entertain-ment. There were songs, recitations, dialogues, and a play called "Tho Little Gypsy," which was welt presented pre-sented by the children. Another piece, "Tho Old Maid's Tea Party," was a laughable nltalr, which made the stem and sober old bachelors smile as they have not dono ror years. A fair sum or money was realized rrom tho entertainments, and much credit Is due the Primary otllccrs, as they are tho only organization In the ward, thus far this winter, that has given us an entertainment. |
