Show We have received from the office of the Juvenile Instructor, Salt Lake City, a copy of the second volume of the "Faith Promoting Series," a neat little book of 88 pages, filled with anecdotes of missionary experiences, written by different authors, which make most pleasing reading for adults, and which are admirably calculated to inspire juvenile readers with faith in God and the Gospel. The volume is most appropriately called "A String of Pearls," and it is one which should be placed in the hands of every child who is able to read. With the book were four cards, each bearing a series of questions with their answers. The cards bore respectively the following titles: "Catechism on Reward," "Self Denial, "Love for One Another," and "Love of God." They are designed and admirably adapted for use in Sabbath Schools, and the lessons they convey to the minds of children are most valuable. Any of the above may be obtained from the publisher of the Juvenile Instructor, Salt Lake City. |
