GAYLEN CHRISTENSEN Janice Gillespie Recites Wedding Vows In a quiet. wedding ceremony Friday evening, March 4, Gay-len Gay-len Chrlstensen of Cedar ' City claimed Miss Janice Gillespie of St. George as his bride. The double-ring ceremony was perform- ed by Bishop Ross Sergent of the Cedar Third Ward. The bridegroom Is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Haldow E. Chrlstensen Chrlst-ensen and the new Mr. Chrlstensen Chrlst-ensen is the daughter of Joseph Gillespie. The same evening at the relief re-lief society rooms of the Third Ward Chapel the newlyweds were honored at a receptl'wi. Bride was attired in a gown of white organdy with a beautiful train of ruffled lace Her veiL of elbow length was caught to a tlerra of sequins and rhlnestones. Her bridal - bouquet was . a combination of white and laven-dar laven-dar orchids. -, Attending the bride were La-wana La-wana Carroll, Barbara Hirschl, Shirley Chrlstensen and Mrs. Raymond Munford. They wore flowered dresses in orange and white and their rorrages were of orange and white carnations. Standing as best man for his brother Was Phillip L. Chrlstensen Chrlsten-sen with Raymond Munford, nnle Jones, Michael Sherman and Ronald Sherman assisting as ushers. The bridegroom's mother chose a beige gown of pure silk and it wac Accentuated with a corsage of vhite carnations. For her going away outfit the bride chose a navy blue dress with accessories. ' I They spent a short honeymoon in Las Vegas, Nevada, after-which after-which they returned to Cedar City to make their home where Mr. Chrlstensen is employed by. the engineering , department of the State Road.
