Show Attend Services For Rel Lowdcr at Hatch on Wednesday Traveling to Hatch on Wednesday Wed-nesday were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Felstead and their son Boss, to attend funeral services for 7-year 7-year old Rel Lowder, who was drowned in the Sevier River near that town just four weeks ago, but whose body wasn't recoved from that stream until Sunday of this week. The boy was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lowder of Hatch. Carl is a brother of Mrs. Felstead. Funeral Fu-neral services were held at 1 p. m. in the LDS chapel at Hatch I and burial took place in that community's cemetery. Rel fell into the high waters of the river on May 4 and was found Sunday by a California fisherman about four miles down stream from where he fell in the water. The fisherman, James R. Helms, Jr., of Arcadia, found the body lodged in some rocks below a spillway in the river. Searchers have spent days dragging and searching the river but the high and murky waters prevented the body from being found until now. |
