Show funeral Services Conducted For William H. Leigh Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Thursday. Mar. 12, for W. H. Leigh, prominent local businessman, business-man, who died in Phoenix, Ariz, on Mar. 7, of a heart ailment. He had been spending the winter in the Arizona city. The services were conducted by Bishop Forrest For-rest L. Anderson of the Second Ward. I Speakers at the services were William R. Palmer, Dr. L. V. i Broadbent, and Arthur Jones of ! Enterprise, and remarks were made by Bishop Anderson. , Invocation was by William Jones, benediction by Leonard D. Woods, Minister of Church of Christ; dedication by Wendell Gardner and prayer at the mortuary mor-tuary prior to the services by Samuel F. Leigh. The musical program included the opening song, 'Thanks Be to Thee" by a girls chorus from College of Southern Utah under the direction of Dr. Blaine Johnson; John-son; a vocal solo, "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," by Mary Sargent, Sar-gent, accompanied by Beth Leigh; a vocal solo by Dr. Blaine Johnson, accompanied by Richard Rich-ard Chrlstensen, and the closing song, "My Father Knows," by a quartet composed of Mamie Eck. Lois McConnell, Ray Cosslett and Vernon Jones, accompanied by Beth Leigh. Prelude and postlude music was by Vivian Palmer. |
