V i ' its " - faaMMMI M ' I ilk' MISS MARILYN FAIRBANKS Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon for Marilyn Jill Fairbanks, 10 -year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Fairbanks. The child died suddenly on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, March 17th, of a respiratory failure, the cause of which was undetermined. un-determined. She had been slightly 111 with Influenza a few days earlier, ear-lier, but was apparently recovering recover-ing very satisfactorily when she was suddenly stricken. Tiie services were conducted In the First Ward Chapel by Bishop H. P. Dotson. Speakers at the services were Bp. Dotson, Parson U. Webster and Samuel F. Leigh. Invocation was by Orant Hunter, benediction by Vernlle Terry and the Dedicatory prayer by Roy Fairbanks, grandfather grand-father of the child. Organ music was provided by Miss Audrey Dotson and the musical mu-sical program was as follows: Vocal solo, "There is no Death", by Miss Emma Lou Warren, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Dotson. Vooal Solo, "Little Pink Roses", by Myles Walker, accompanied by Mrs. Beth Leigh. Violin solo, Brahms Lulaby", by Roy L. Halverson, accompanied by Mrs. Leigh. Closing gong, "Lead Me Gently Home", by a mixed Quartet composed com-posed of Miss Emma Lou Warren, Mrs. Elaine Southwlck, Ray Coss-lett Coss-lett and Myles Walker, accompanied by Mrs. Leigh. |
