Show Graveside Services Held For Chad Fife The body of Chadwlck Fife, the first of Cedar City World War II dead to be brought home from the world battle fronts, was buried at the Cedar City cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Graveside services were conducted by Bishop Leo Larson, with the Cedar Post of the American Ameri-can Legion paying their comrade military honor, and presenting the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel L. Fife, with an American Flag. Frank D alley, Immediate past commander of the Post, read the citation for which Chad was presented pre-sented the Bronze Star only a month before his death, and delivered a short address at the services. A quartet composed of Elihu Whatcott, Lanolr Jones, Reed Roberts and Austin Heywood, sang "Oh My Father", and the grave was dedicated dedicat-ed by Lamont E. Tueller. |
