Show 9 . . Obituary. Mrs. Katherine Sheehy of 2337 Lafayette Lafay-ette street -died on Saturday, Sept. 26, at St. Joseph's hospital after a short illnes. The body was shipped Sunday evening to her old home in Rock Island, 111., and was accompanied by her husband and mother. The large gathering of mourning friends that escorted es-corted the remains to the train was testimony of the love and esteem in which the deceased was held by all who knew her. Mrs. Sheehy was the wife of P. R. Sheehy, who holds a responsible re-sponsible position with the Colorad I Fuel & Iron company. The funeral of Miss Gertrude Mc-Andrews Mc-Andrews was held Sunday afternoon from the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John J. McAndrews. 3213 West Twenty-third avenue. Interment was in Mount Olivet cemetery. Miss Lauretta M. Corcoran di Monday, Sept. 21, at her aunt's apartments apart-ments in the Vienna, 174G Clarkson etrnnt XTioo Pnreornn cntnp to Tlpnvpr over two years ago, a sufferer from tuberculosis, tu-berculosis, and for a while it seemed the climate had benefited her, but the improvement was only temporary, and despite the best of care and surrounded surround-ed with much loving attention, she closed her eyes on the world that had known her for but eighteen brief years. The body was removed for burial to her home in Rochester, N. Y. Miss Martha Balkin, an old-time public school teacher, was an aunt of Miss Corcoran, and it was with her she made her home while in Denver. The funeral of Frank Meehan, who died on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at his home, 3338 Mariposa street, took place Friday afternoon from St. Patrick's church, and was in charge of the Woodmen of the World. Interment was in Mount Calvary cemetery. Mr. Meehan was 40 years of age and is survived sur-vived by a wife and several children. |
