Show Denver Boy "Weds in Iowa. Surprising his many friends by his sudden and romantic marriage to a beautiful girl at Council Bluffs, la., Thomas J. Hines, a well known Denver Den-ver boy, is receiving by telegraph the congratulations of a host of friends here. Mr. Hines is the nephew of Alderman Al-derman and Mrs. John Conlon of this city and was formerly a etudent at the College of the Sacred Heart. The young man had entered upon a course of study preparatory to being ordained for the priesthood, but he changed his mind and left Denver to take up work in the east. He enlisted in the navy later, and in the capacity of sailor has been around the world several times. Of an adventurous-spirit, he made fho most of his journeys and has ccn almost al-most every country in the world. A few years, ago he retired and entered upon a more ouiet life in Missouri, w here he met Miss Mary Powell, whom he married last week. 'Mr. Hines' is also the nephew of M. J. Meenan of 1442 Platte street. Mr. and Mrs. Hines will make their home in Council Bluffs. . ' |
