Show : WYOMING ' 4- (Correspondence Interrr.ountain Catholic) Evanston, Wyo., May 20S. On, Thursday Thurs-day last the -wedding bells of St. Mary's church rang-out for . Mr. Rae Durnford' and Miss Alice La Riviene, Father Casey uniting them as husband and wife. The' bride" was beautifully dressed in white satin, and her sister, Nellieda, who attended, her, in lavender laven-der silk. The .bride was given away by her father. Mr. Joseph La' Riviene. Mr. John Hamilton acted as best man. Mr. Rae Durnford was born in Evanston Ev-anston twenty-three years ago, and has occupied the position of dry goods clerk in Messrs. Blythe & Fargo's for a number num-ber of years. He is sober and industrious, indus-trious, and an example for the young boys of the city to emulate. About a year ago he became a member of the Catholic church, and Bince then has proved himself a worthy member. Miss La Riviene was born in St. Albans, Vt., but while still a child came'West with her parents. She received her education educa-tion from the Sisters - in Cheyenne-Wyo., Cheyenne-Wyo., a.nd graduated from there with honors. For the past Ave years she has taught here in our public schools,, and on Sundays she assists in teaching, catechism in St. Mary's church. B., of Xieblo, visited the Austrian, Italian and Schlavonian miners of Diamond-ville Diamond-ville and Kemmerer. Hundreds turned out to hear him and much good wi.l result to the various peoples from his visit. |
