Show Sting of Honey Bee Causes Near Death The sting of a honey bee nearly caused the death of Roy Mellor ast Thursday evening and only for fhe heroic acts of the attending physician. physi-cian. For more than two hours Mr. Mellor was at the point of death, and the timely action of the application appli-cation of countcractents is all that saved the man. Mr. Mellor, son of John Mellor, was at. work on the farm in the valley val-ley with the latter. An ordinary honey bee stung him squarely on the chin, puncturing an artery.
