"Had any entertainments this winter?" he inquired. "No," said Mr. Craig, "not one. Salome Sa-lome Howe's pupils have given two Concerts, piano and organ, and the principal of the 'cademy has lectured twice, once on 'Our National Forests' and once on 'Stones As I Know Them;' but as far as entertainments are concerned, con-cerned, Centerville hasn't got round to 'em yet."
