A ' - -' v v ' - ' ' . , U ' Students at Bryce Valley schools spent half a day reading their favorite books in support of the National Education Association's "Read Across America" program. Read Across America Makes A Stop in Bryce Valley Schools Started in 1998 as a way to get kids excited about reading, NEA's Read Across America has become the nation's largest reading event. The year-round program culminates each year on or near Dr. Seuss's birthday (Mar. 2). Bryce Valley Schools jumped on the reading bandwagon band-wagon yesterday, filling halls and classrooms with blankeis 4 and books as everyone took a half of a day to read their favorites, eat Suess's 100th birthday cake, meet the Cat in the Hat, and engage in reading-based reading-based activities. Bryce Valley Schools, Canyon Rim Trail Rides, and Bryce Valley KOA sponsored the event deemed "a lot of fun" by those who participated. partici-pated. Read on Bryce Valley! |
