Show 1 i "J Lr Mr. and Mrs. Silas Muntton Mm. sons Will Note Golden Wedding Day TROPIC - Mr and Mrs Silas H. Munson of Tropic will observe their golden wedding anniversary on August 24. Their children will host an open house for the couple on August 26 from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Tropic Ward cultural hall The Munsons were married August 24 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They spent some of the early years of their married life in Los Angeles and McGill, Nev., moving to Tropic in 1947 While in Tropic Mr. Munson has been engaged in farming and the dairy business Mrs. Munson has been active in civic and church organizations. Both are musically inclined having sung with local chorus and choir. They have three children, a daughter Verlynn and son Alan Munson of Tropic, and a son Donald of K earns. Utah. They have eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A program will be presented by family members and all friends of the couple are invited to attend. They request that no gifts be sent. |
