Ned and Coy Burr had their daughter Melanie and husband Kevin Blair spend the weekend with them and Nathan Blair and wife also came to help celebrate Ned's birthday which was on Saturday, Feb. 28. The youth speakers in Antimony LDS Ward on Sunday, Feb. 29 were Alissa arid Duchelle Martin. Shyanne Burr, daughter of the Phillip Burrs was the .visiting speaker reporting report-ing on her mission to New York. The Shieldes were here at their summer home for the weekend. Released from their job as nursery teachers were Eugene and Valeria King. Sustairied as the new nursery teacher was Mona Rae Twitchell. Michelle Blood Benson and husband were here for the weekend. week-end. LDS Stake President Shannon Allen was invited by the State Governor's office to come to Salt Lake City to give the opening prayer in one of the legislative sessions. The Piute boy's basketball team is in Ogden playing in the state tournament. Two Antimony boys are on the ball team, Kwin Willis and Bryce Allen. Julie Allen and her two children, chil-dren, Heather and Taylor, drove up to see the game and the Willises went to Provo also. Shannon Allen was unable to get away to go watch but we're sure he was mentally doing his share of shouting! Neal Warner and his son, Bill Warner, came down to visit with Bill Wiley and to go cougar hunting. They live in Price. Corlas Montague is having Tim Dowland do the ceramic tile work on his bathroom. He says it is beautiful work. Tim Dowling lives here in Antimony now but he and two brothers all moved to Utah several years ago from California. Steve and Virginia Lam are staying in St. George as he is having trouble with his back again. Judy Green has been visiting again and stopped to see Beverly Ford in Las Vegas, Nev. Beverly would like to come home but maybe later. |
