Show Myton News by Grace Dalgleish Members of the American Legion Auxiliary William R. Sands Unit 5, met in the home of Grace Dalgleish, recently with President Virginia Monks conducting the meeting. Poppy posters prepared by Union High Junior Class were displayed and were found to be excellent works of art. The Unit dis-j dis-j cussed the possibility of two , girls attending Girls' State at Logan June 5th to 12th and plans to raise funds for that activity. Mrs. Ted Thomas, Jr. was honored at a birthday dinner recently at her home, when her father, Hans Dennison, and her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bezyack and children, Kathy and Karl, came from Price to celebrate the occasion. Another sister, Mrs. Hollis Bransk, came from Wellington Wel-lington to join the family celebration. cele-bration. Clifford McKenna is recovering re-covering from an accident which occurred last week at which time he suffered a foot injury. He will be using crutches for the present. Announcement has been received of the arrival of twin daughters born to Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielson at Logan. They made their home in this area prior to moving to Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Nielson of Roosevelt are the proud paternal pater-nal grandparents. |
