More Stores Involved In Promotion - A Kaysville LAYTON family has more merchants to thank than one for a TV they won, recently. Students at the E. M. Whitesides Elementary School are planning a big celebration to coincide with Halloween. Getting fit for costumes and all a little early are Allyson Koch, 8, left, and her sister Julie, 6, and Paul Coombs, 7. AWAITS HALLOWEEN ! The Whitesdies Elementary School PTA is holding their Halloween carnival on Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. FUN BOOTHS such as the fish pond, the cake walk, bean bag toss, treasure chest and many others will be available for the childrens enjoyment. You need not even fix dinner for your family before com ing, as sloppy joes, hot dogs and soft drinks will be served. Top off your dinner with popcorn or yummy goodies from our bake shop booth. Balloons will be for sale and there will be a costume and a pumpkin contest. THE BEN Whickers of Kaysville were recipients of a TV, all part of a promotion conducted by being merchants in the Layton Plaza. A cutline last week gave Anns Fabrics all the credit, but the News Journal has since learned other stores were equally responsible for providing the gift. Collett attended the funeral service of a cousin, Eldon Bills in Salt Lake City on Wednesday.
