Show Esther M. Petersen BOUNTIFUL Esther M. Petersen, age 72, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, in a Bountiful care center. She was bom April 3, 1918, in Detroit, Miclu, a daughter of Christian Chris-tian and Mary Delia Phillips Petersen, Jr. She was an active member of the LDS Church, and served in many capacities. Served a mission to the Wtftrn States. - , . -;- Tv ": - : : - T $ x'--' as a volunteer worker at Primary Children's Hospital several years. Active Ac-tive in softball and volleyball, playing many years in women's leagues in Michigan and during her Army service. ser-vice. Survivors: brothers, Fred W. TeetselL Marion Oaks, Fla.; Harold R. Petersen, Fullerton, Calif.; Harry W. McSwain, Bountiful; Elmer L. Gillett, West Bountiful; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sisters, Mary Esther TeetselL Mona Mae Fast, and brothers, Raymond, Randall and Vernon C. Gillett. Funeral services were held Jan. 25, at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary chapel. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery. Served during World War II in the WAC. Graduated from BYU. Retired employee of the LDS Church. Served |
