Show Dehl to attend i D.C. seminar Angela Diehl, president of the Utah Jaycees, will participate in the I Governmental Affairs Leadership Seminar held Sept. 14-18, in Wash-ington, Wash-ington, D.C. The event, sponsored : by the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees), is ; held annually for all state Jaycee ; presidents and national officers. A j line from the Jaycee Creed states that 'we believe that government should be of laws rather than of men" so the seminar participants : will learn about the current ; American governmental system, meet with Congressional leaders, ; and typically meet with the Presi- ; dent of the United States. As state president, Ms. Diehl ; oversees the following Jaycee chapters: Bear River Valley, Bountiful, Boun-tiful, Cedar City, Centerville, Farm-in Farm-in gt on, Gunnison Valley, Kaysville, j Layton, Logan, Nephi, Salt Lake City, Sandy, Santaquin, Vernal, and j Wasatch. The Jaycees offer young people the opportunity for personal ; development and leadership train- ; ing. Major efforts are directed ; toward finding solutions to problems prob-lems specific to their communities. Also, Ms. Diehl represents the Utah Jaycees on the national executive : board of directors.
