Millcreek junior high gets seven new staff members Six new teachers have been added add-ed to the staff of Millcreek Junior High to work along side of Andrew Adoardi, the school's new principal for the 1990-91 school year. Mr. Adoardi is in tu is new role of principal after serving three years as assistant principal of Bountiful High School. He previously served 17 years as a classroom teacher at order specialist for Davis School District, coordinator for handicapped han-dicapped students in the district's Head Start Program, business communication teacher for Central Texas College and has taught for the Department of Defense schools in West Germany. A former teacher at North Layton Junior High the past two years, Diane Schaefer previously taught school in Wisconsin and Indiana. Mark Burningham is a graduate of the University of Utah. His most recent teaching assignment was in the Granite School District where he taught geometry, Spanish and remedial math at Evergreen Junior High. He was presented the award of "Assistant Principal of the Year" for 1990 from the Utah Association of Secondary School Principals. Among the new teachers assigned as-signed this year to Millcreek Junior High School, Carol Christensen previously taught five years in the Jordan School District and at Kays-ville Kays-ville Elementary School. A math teacher, she holds two college degrees, one in speech pathology and the other in education. Jerry Huff, music director at the school, is from Michigan where he graduated from Wayne State University. Uni-versity. He is proficient in all forms of music, both as a conductor and musician. He was conductor of the Birmingham Concert and recipient of the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award. Dana Brenny will be the women's coach for the Mustangs volleyball, basketball and track teams. A graduate of Warhead State University, she previously taught at Wasatch Elementary School in Salt Lake City and has spent considerable con-siderable time coaching the Utah Special Olympics in physical education edu-cation and swimming. Deanna Avis is a transfer teacher from North Davis Junior High where she taught resource math. She has been a communication dis- |
