Show Henrie's produces information brochure r j B OUNTIFUL Henric s Dry :'l Cleaners now provides its customers and any interested con-': con-': sumers with timely information based on the questions most often asked about clothing and draperies. The questions presented and answered an-swered are contained in what is believed to be the first consumer information in-formation brochure published by a Utah dry cleaner. The subject matter deals with stain removal, draperies, beadssequins, care labels, metallic coating and embroidery, leathersuede garments and trimming, trimm-ing, silk, fadingdye bleeding, button problems, designer labels, shoulder pads, recognizing a well-made well-made garment and finding a good dry cleaner. In addition, an entire section headed "reimbursement for loss or damage" contains a chart showing life expectancy of textiles in terms of years and a table chart showing "claims adjustment values criteria." The same section also provides a probable answer to "how should I value clothing I donate do-nate to charity?" The information contained in the brochure is based on the years of professional experience of Boyd K. Henrie, president of Henrie's, and his knowledgeable staff. Additional research and input were provided by International Fabricare Institute, a recognized authority with its own testing laboratory and a national trade organization, and Fabritec International, In-ternational, the parent company of Sanitone cleaning process. The brochure was produced for Henrie's by BICOA-Business Idea Company of America, which spent over seven months gathering additional addi-tional data and conducting independent indepen-dent research before presenting the final brochure. "Within the company, this has become known as Henrie's Educational Educa-tional Brochure, because it is intended in-tended to further the education of the consumer about textiles and some of the realistic expectations they should have regarding their purchases," saidHenne. "The brochure is free to any interested in-terested consumer at each Henrie's location. We will update and add all pertinent information as it becomes available in the future. We believe consumer acceptance will be highly favorable and this will become a permanent information service for them," Henrie concluded. |
