She Is married to Fredrick W. Bergeson, and they are the parents of four children. She studied art while attending the University of Idaho in 1959, and In 1965 she studied drama at the University of Utah. She is now taking classes in Family Relations and Interior Design at Brigham Young University. She is a graduate of Patricia Stevens Career College and has been a fashion coordinator and commentator for Sears. She has also worked in California and Idaho as a licensed cosmetologist. As an active member of the church, Mrs. Bergeson has served as Relief Society president, and work leader, MIA activity counselor, Primary teacher, social science and theology teacher. She is presently working in the MIA as a Beehive Preston. The annual event is expect ed to draw about 1000 people for the three days. LOWDER has aBBM a Ph.D. from Utah State University and is presently professor of biological sciences at Ricks College. He VELAN MAX ANDERSEN was born In Provo. He Is married to the former Donabelle Blades and they are the parents of six children. lie received his B.S. degree in sociology from Brigham Young University, and spent two years in sociology at the University of California in the field of criminology. He also received a second B.S. degree in art at BYU. He later accepted a position of Scout Executive with the Boy Scouts of America directing scout- does respecial each sum- search projects mer at A.E.C and this summer has a grant to study parasites. He has done bacterial research for potato processing plants throughout the area. Last summer he and his wife and five children spent the summer touring Europe, the culmination of several years of planning and study. He has done post doctorate work at UCLA and the University of Hawaii. In 1964 he presented a reasearch paper in Rome, Italy, at the International Congress of ing activities in Southern California, and later in Salt Lake City. In 1962, he accepted a position to teach seminary, and has taught in seminaries at Cardston, Alberta, Canada, Spanish Fork seminary, he taught in the BYU Religion Department last year, and is presently teaching in Orem Senior and Orem Junior high school seminary. He also taught evening classes in art while in Canada, and was president of the Sou- thern Alberta Sketch club. He is presently working on a Master's degree in art at BYU. He is now serving as mission president of the BYU Eighth stake. He has been a teacher in various church organizations, has served in presidency of two seventies quorums, as counselor of the Sunday School, MIA, and for years as Regional and Stake Explorer advisor. WILLIAM R. LAMBERT is a native of Salt Lake City. He received his B.S. from the University of Utah in 1953 in Marketing. He then studied at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration where he received his MBA in 1962 in Finance and Business Policy. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Indiana University. He is married to the former Ann Wixom and they are the parents of four children. He filled a mission for the church in Uraguay, 1954-5where he served as mission secretary and mission chorus director. He has served on a stake high council and has had many church positions. He came to BYU in 1962, is presently classes in Finance and Human Relations. He has been associated with Beta Gamma Sigma, an honorary business fraternity, and served as management trainee at Western States Steel in 1957 and manager of Beacon Insurance Agency of Salt Lake In 195840. ERNEST EBERHARD JR., was born In Stuttgart, Germany. He Is married to the former Nevon Olscn and they are parents of six children-th- ree boys and three girls. He received his B.A. in 1934 and his M.A. In 1960, both at the BYU. He has done graduate work at the University of Idaho, Utah State University, and the University of Southern California. He has been and is now an instructor at BYU. He has also taught for Idaho State College. He was a seminary teacher and principal in Idaho for 26. He was also mayor of Preston for two terms. He has served as District Coordinator of Seminaries in Northern Utah, Southern Idaho and Western Wyoming. He Is the author of the highly popular book for teens of the church, "What Shall We Do With Love?" which is now In its fourth printing. He has written the lessons In several MIA manuals and has made a number of contributions to the Improvement Era. Mr. Eberhard has always been very active in the church having been a bishop, high councilman, as well as having served on stake boards and as an officer in the auxiliaries of the church. He is currently Director of Curriculum for the seminaries in the Department of Education. He is a member of the youth task committee of the Church Correlation Committee. G. HUGH ALLRED was born in Hill Spring, Alberta, Canada. He is married to the former Carolyn Crapo. They are now the parents of three children. He went to Yale University in 1951-5- 2 and studied the Chinese language. He received his B.A. degree in 1957 from BYU In social sciences and his M.A. degree in 1960 in counseling. From the University of Oregon, he received his Ed.D. in counseling and psycholeducation psychology ogy. He held the position of counselor and assistant professor of education at psychology in 1966-6BYU and is presently assistant professor of Child Development and Family Relations at BYU. He has traveled throughout Kor- sonalities of the West and Midwest He is a member of APGA, HCRT, and pioneered the first open forum family counseling centers In the state of He has published Utah. "Mission for Mother; the Child," Guiding "Guidelines for Rearing Children Based on LDS Principles." He has held many positions In the church. He has been a member of a bishopric, stake ensign leader, teacher of high priest group, elders quorum president, and Is presently In the Salt Lake Mormon Tabernacle Choir. They are the parents of three children. She received her BS degree in Home Economics Education from the University of Utah. She was a Home Economics teacher at the Irving Junior high school in Salt Lake City and Is serving as a Home Ec teacher at the Highland high school In Salt Lake City at the present time.
