Kaiser's petition for remittal of billiard hall license disallowed. MONDAY SKSSION. The Council met in regular session, April 11th. Present, Mayor Jensen, Councilmen Pett. Madson, Snow, Christensen, Steed, and Ipsen. The Water master's claim of $6.75 favor of Andrew Jensen for ditch work, allowed. An ordinance relatiev to sidewalks . and shade trees was presented by Councilman Steed and accepted. i A map represen ting pipe linos for the location and construction of water works was presented by Mayor Jensen and accepted. A petition with the names of 211 persons signed to it, asking for a public discussion of the water works question and a vote was presented by C. W. Knudsen and Hans Larsen. This petition peti-tion was not the original; the names were signed in the hand writing of one person. It was tabled, on motion of Councilman Christensen. Adjourned. |
