Show LAST RITES HELD FORLD. YATES Funeral services for l.eland De-loy De-loy Yates, 42, of 126 West State Highway, Copperton, were held Tuesday afternoon, July 28th at 2 o'clock at 8090 South State Street, Midvale. Mr. Yates died Saturday morning, July 25, of a heart ailment. ail-ment. He was born March 29, 1917, in Tremonton, a son of John and Elken Houghton Yates. He married Nora Knez, September 12, 1936, in Los Angeles. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-d;;y Latter-d;;y Saints. I le was employed as an ambulance driver for Utah Copper Cop-per Division of Kennecott Copper Corporation. Surviving him are his widow, Crvnnerlnn: nne Ann. Unrnld Yts. Salt Lake City; father, John Yates, Salt Lake City; four brothers, Rowland Row-land Yates, Salt Lake City; Doyle and Merrill Yates, Murray; Otii Yates, Hawthorne, Calif.; eight sisters, Mrs. Elsie Burgang, Mrs. Edna Gannett, Mrs. Olive Lefter, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Hope Strain, Alameda, Calif.; Mrs. Lea Hunsaker, Brigham City; Mrs. Beulah Clements, Hawthorne, Calif. Mrs. Bernice Wolfs, Longdate, Calif., and Mrs. Mildred Schmidt, American Fork. Interment was in Midvale City Cemetery. O |
