Show OCTOBER WEDDING Impressive double ring nuptials nup-tials solemnized Wednesday, October Oc-tober 21, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple united in marriage Miss , Shirley Faye Cheever, daughter I of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Albert Cheever of Copperton, and William Wil-liam Earl Ratfer. Patents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Earl Rager of Lark. Copperton Ward chapel . was jthe setting of a reception for the couple the same evening. White satin fashioned the bride's gown. The full length skirt fell from a gathered waist, while soft insets of paneled lace 'graced the bodice. She carried a bridal bouquet centered with Ian orchid. Attendants were Mrs. Robert I A. Peterson, matron of honor; Miss Aria Olsen, Miss Marlene Diederich, Miss Lynn Allen and Miss Marilyn Thorne, bridesmaids. brides-maids. They were attired in pastel formal with complimenting compliment-ing matching corsages. Clare Rager was best man for his brother. Ushers were Robert A. Peterson, Jay A. Cheever, Bob Moore and Ned Drown. The bride's mother received guests in a peach shaded gown while the bridegroom's mother chose a green model. Both don- 'nod orchid corsages. James Bingham acted as mas-. mas-. ter of ceremonies at the program. I Vocal solos were rendered by Muss Roslyn Hansen who sang "Because" and Sammy Robison who sang "Always". Joyce Land was in charge of the guest book, while in the gift room were Arlene Cheever, Mary Lynn Sanderson, Austa Armit-stead, Armit-stead, Betty Lipsey and Denny Simkins. Serving were Jackie Barrett, Janice Hocking and Patty Saldivar. . The couple left Tuesday morning mor-ning to make their home in Las Vegas, Nev., where the groom is stationed with the air force. . - |
