Show COUPLE WED FIFTY YEARS A family reunion and dinner was held Monday evening at the home of Coleman B. Quinn m i honor of Mr. and Mrs Francis ; W Quinn, who are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. anniver-sary. . , t "Fifty years is a long time, but I've enjoyed every minute of it said Mr. Quinn, which statement summed up the feelings of Mr. and Mrs. Quinn. -Mr and Mrs. Quinn were married mar-ried May 12, 1897, in Marysv.lle, Calif They came to Bingham where they lived for 25 years until they moved to Salt Lane ClMr Quinn served as postmaster postmas-ter in Bingham during the term of President Grover Cleveland. He worked with the telephone company for 35 years and served as a representative from Salt Lake county in the state legislature legis-lature during 1918- During his tenure as representative -he au thorized the "Discovery day . bill making Columbus day a hohda in Utah He has been a member 3 the Elks club for 37 years and is a life member of Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs Quinn is a native of San Francisco and says that she has devoted "her life tryinR to be a I good housewife. Mr Quinn is sine she has succeeded. I They have four sons and dau- ! tfhteS Coleman B.
