FOUL CRIME OF BURGLAR. Washington Woman Murdered and Attempt Made to Burn Her Body. Bellingham, Wash. Mis Adeline Roper, a clerk In a dry goods store, was brutally murdered at Blaine, late Saturday night. It is believed that the object of the attack on her was robbery, but that she made such a valiant fight that her assailants took her life In order to escape detection.
