Show WITHINi the next few days prominent citizens of Parowan will be here to discuss with people of this place plans for the formation of a construction company com-pany to bid on the proposed road from Lund to this place via the; Twenty-Mile Gap, with a "Y" leading in the direction of Parowan. The action taken by the State Highway Commission respecting this road was based largely upon the assurance received from Iron county people that something of this kind would be done herp, including the placing of a considerable quantity of estate bonds, which may be used as collateral col-lateral on which to obtain the amount of cash re-, quired for the construction of the road, and may be held as an .investment by those feeling themselves able to do so. This is a matter of very great importance, impor-tance, and should receive prompt and favorable action ac-tion on the part of Cedar People. Another thing, this work should be gotten under way at the earliest pqssible datp, as men and teams are going to be very much in demand as soon as the spring farm work begins. be-gins. It will then resolve itself into strictly a heavy traptor or truck proposition, requiring a greater cash outlay. K |
